Hello and welcome to my website.

I have been passionate about photography for many years now. Needless to say it started with film cameras and using black & white film. This progressed to colour film and then onto colour slides and I dabbled in my own processing and printing and I mean dabbled!
On a trip to Nepal in 2001 I purchased my first digital camera & from memory it was a 1.2 megapixel Sony, it was a start. However technology in todays world as we all know moves rapidly and digital cameras have now taken over from film cameras for most people at least.
I had already purchased my first Nikon when I moved back to the beautiful Scottish Highlands in 2008 & discovered a whole new world when I visited Chanory Point on the Black Isle and saw for the first time the magnificent bottlenose dolphins of the Moray Firth. The rest is history.
